None EU Spouse Visa - New Application

Post by difficult » Wed Mar 01, 2023 3:41 pm

Hi guys,

I will appreciate it if you can help me. As my case details are,

I got a degree of absoluteness in the last quarter of 2022.

I got married in Pakistan in the first quarter of 2023.

Can someone please forward me a full list of all the documents that I need to apply for a spouse visa from the UK and Pakistan?

What possible complications could I face during this process?

How long could this process take?

I will appreciate your help, guys.

What is your UK immigration status?

https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa

It can take up to 6 months from Pakistan, sometimes longer.

I am a British national with a valid UK passport, and I own a property in the UK (mortgage-free).

Spouse Visa - Documents are missing

Post by difficult » Fri Jul 14, 2023 8:33 pm

Hi guys,

I need to submit my application for a spouse visa for my wife.

I have looked into the Home Office website.

https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/proof-income

I have these documents at the moment.

4 months of wage slips
6 months of bank statements +£16k Savings
Letter of employment Permanent job with £1850
Wedding pictures 20
General Pictures 20
My Passport
Wife’s Passport’s and (and ID Cards) copy (Wife)
WhatsApp Chat history
Money Transfers
Property Documents
Bills – Address IDs
TB test (Wife)
A1 English Test (Wife)
Divorce Certificate

Someone has told me that if my employment letter confirms that my job is permanent, I do not have to wait for all six wage slips. Can you guys confirm if it's true?

Do I need any additional documents?

Regards

Can you guys also confirm that this is the fee that I have to pay to the Home Office at the time of my online application?

Route to Settlement: £1,538

If so, is there any additional fee, like the NHS fee?

I have spoken with one of the solicitors, who has told me that my chat with my wife has to be in English; otherwise, I have to get it translated. It's hard for me to believe this information. I have asked other guys who do WhatsApp chat in all languages, and their spouse visa has been granted.

But is there any way around for wage slips? I have the required amount of savings over £16k, 4 months of wage slips and an employment letter, and a mortgage-free property.

You need to be at your current job for 6 months and provide the 6 months of wage slips. Just have sabr for the next 2 months and apply.

It's unlikely on the basis that Someone has told you.

Where you meet its requirements, Category B is an option if you do not wish to wait 6 months under Category A.

Thanks bro. It's only one month and 10 days left in my new job now.

I also want to know when I can start my application. How long will they give me to submit all my documents? Is there a list of documents that I have to submit with my application?

Do I need to hire a solicitors for my spouse's visa?

Is there anyone who has a screenshot of an online application for a spouse visa?

It will help me to know all the questions and prepare me to answer them in advance.

You can do a dry run of the application I.e. start and fill up without submitting

Hi mate,

Thanks for your advice.

As advised, I have started a real application online, and I do not have any legal-related education or experience. As I am progressing with my application, questions are getting weird for me. For example,

Is your current entry clearance or leave to remain as the partner of one of the following?
a British citizen
a person settled in the UK
a person with refugee leave or a person with humanitarian protection in the UK
a person with pre-settled status under the EUSS in the UK
a person who has leave as a Turkish ECAA worker or business person in the UK

I selected NO

2nd difficult part to understand

Your duty to give all reasons for staying in the UK

You must include all your reasons for wanting to stay in the UK on this application.

You need to tell us any reasons why you should be allowed to stay as soon as you can. if you can apply later giving these reasons you may lose the right to appeal a refusal of this application.

You can give additional information in this space provided at the end of this application if needed.

I entered my nationality as British.

3rd difficult Question -

Your current UK immigration status
Do you have a current UK visa, entry clearance or grant of leave?

Since I have british passport, I selected NO

4th difficult Question

Valid leave to remain

Have you ever had any valid leave to enter or remain

I selected NO

5th difficult Question

Your family or friends
What family or friends do you have in the country where you were born and/or any other country whose nationality you hold?

I mentioned the relationships among family members, like one brother, two sisters, and a wife.

6th difficult question

Leave the UK
If you were required to leave the UK, what country would you go to?

Please explain me .... what to write...

7th difficult question

Degree Certificate
Your degree certificate must show:

your name
the name of the college or university
the qualification you were awarded
the date when the qualification was awarded

Since I am already a British National with a valid British passport, I am making an online application to bring my spouse to the UK. Why am I being interrogated here?

The application is for your spouse so you fill them in with your spouse's details not yours!
Hope in that way it begins to make sense. Ask further questions as they come up.

I am unable to attach a screenshot. I am unable to fill this online application form on behalf of my wife.

It says,

Are you currently in the UK?
(Required)

No
You cannot use this form because you are not currently in the UK.

This form is only for people who are applying within the UK.

You must apply for a visa using the forms which can be found here.)

So follow the directions you are being led. If your spouse is outside UK use the form you are told is appropriate.

I am using this link, to fill up application form.
But I am stuck on one question, and I need your help.

Meeting with your partner
How often do you usually see (meet) *****?
For example, weekly, monthly, three times a year.

When did you last see *****?
(Required)
Enter date in the format DD MM YYYY
Day
Month
Year

Since we got married, I have moved back to the UK. Are they asking for my visit with my wife? We spent hours on the phone, but we never had a chance to visit her, as I am working full time to get her documents ready and call her in the UK.

Please help

What other questions I may have to be careful?

You may give same explanation you gave above in additional information section or cover note.

Have a read below and the link

The employer’s letter should confirm:

! you or your partner are employed there
the job title or position you or your partner hold
! how long you or your partner have worked there
! the type of contract (for example, permanent, fixed term)
! what you or your partner earn before tax and National Insurance
! how long you or your partner have been paid your current salary
! the payslips are genuine
You’ll be told exactly what documents to provide when you apply online.
