Name in degree certificate and Payslip

Post by sajan.chandran » Fri Jan 02, 2009 11:17 am

Hi Friends,
My Name in my Degree Certificate is Sajan C
But my payslips contains Sajan Chandran (Chandran is the expansion of my initial (Father's name).
Do i need to provide some additional documents to prove that they are same?
Please advice.

Thanks in advance,
Sajan C

Hi all,

I have the similar case.
My name is Gopi Krishna T. It is the same in all certificates, but in bank statements it is like Gopi K T. Would it be acceptable?

Never ever go ahead with your application without an affidavit done. This is just to cover your base in case of any eventuality.

Agreed...

Question for you:

Is an EMAIL a written proof or not? If yes then I did provide a written proof which I have received from a PERSONAL email address of an Entry CLearence Manager. And all my certificates have the correct name except payslips and offer letter.

Example:
Name in passport: A B C ; wherein B = Kumar
Name in Payslips: A B C : wherein B = K
Name in Offer letter: A B C : wherein B = K

I guess I have seen some post where someone got a rejection after providing an affidavit also.

However my case is different, if they want to verify then they will call my employer, and I have already informed my employer about my name issue and tier 1 visa.

Anyways I have already applied so cannt really debate more on this, lets just wait for the result. If positive then I was right and if negative then i made a mistake. Please dont take the above statement as an arguement, its just a clarification.

I think in your case you can request a name change for your bank accout bby giving a copy of passport to them.
