Hi VijoZacharia,

1. Once We get the new COC from employer, How early we can submit for renewal? As we are planning to Go for Annual leave in November.

Generally, there is no restriction on how soon you can apply for renewal. However, applying too soon will put implications on your future application for an ILR as there will be a shortfall in residence. Making up for this shortfall will require another extension than you would have actually needed had you not applied too early.

Ideally, you should apply for an extension 28 days before your expiry or when you reach at least 30 months residence from when you first entered the UK.

You must note that just because you submit an application early does not necessarily mean you will get a decision earlier than November. If anything, you may be able to pay for a faster decision (£500 per application).

4. Do we need to pay for the NHS Surcharge?

You, as a health and care worker, and your partner and children as your dependents are exempt from the NHS surcharge - https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... -needs-pay
