Universal Credit

Dear Sir/Madam,

My son will apply Universal Credit for his son. Can this affect on his wife next ILR / British Citenship because she is on spouse visa and online form need her information as well?

Kindly give us prompt advice.

It shouldn’t, she still needs to claim UC then link the claims, but if she’s subject to immigration control she should fail the habitual residence test and the claim will be single.

In addition to the previous advice, you will also need to declare any income your wife may have if she's working, as this will be taken into consideration when calculating the Universal Credit payments you are entitled to.
(Casa, not CR001)
