Going abroad when application is submitted

Post by shahjeev » Tue Dec 05, 2023 7:08 pm

Hello All,

Apologies, if I am repeating this question again, as could not find relevant post under search.

I am planning to apply for Naturalization on the 10th of Dec, but will be going abroad for 10 days at the end of the month.

Is that still allowed? My application will remain in processing?

Let me know,

Thank you.
Shahjeev

Hi

Yes, travel after the submission of the application and the biometrics should be ok.

Yes, you need to be in the country when you submit and when you submit biometrics, other than that you can travel.

Thanks for swift response.

So, I will be present in country when I submit my application.

But Biometrics will happen next year, and I will be out for 10 days before coming back and giving biometrics in UK.

This is acceptable, right?

Thanks once again.

Doctor as Professional Referee

Post by shahjeev » Tue Dec 05, 2023 7:29 pm

Hi folks,

Apologies if this is a repeat again,

Can I put professional referee as a Doctor (GP)? He has known me since birth and a UK citizen.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately GP’s have been removed from the list some years ago.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.
