Choosing which option

Post by khalidhaku » Wed Dec 06, 2023 6:32 pm

Dear Sir and respected members

Applicant got Limited Leave to Remain in 2021 on the basis of her daughter who was born Manchester 7 year ago and her leave will expire on 14 Jan 2024 (Home Office decision letter attached). She is confused which option she choose to do her application with her 3 children (Application online form page at bottom). Her husband got DLR after 2 years of her and due to renew his DLR in 2026.
It is therefore requested that kindly help in this regard.
Kind Regards

Basis of your application
Your relationship or private life is the basis of your application to remain in the UK.
What is your relationship to the person you are applying to remain with in the UK?(Required)
Choose the option that best matches the main reason for your application to stay in the UK. Find more information on the different routes.
Choose 'Partner' if your partner is a British citizen, settled person, or a person with refugee leave or humanitarian protection in the UK.
You should only apply as a parent if you are not eligible to apply as a partner.
Whichever option you choose you will be asked questions about any children you have and your private life. You will also be able to tell us any other reasons you want to stay in the UK.
O Partner
O Child
O Parent
O Other family member
O I am not applying as a family member - I am only applying on
the basis of private life in the UK

It seems leave has been given as an asylum seeker.
