Employment Tribunal and Naturalisation application

Post by Troubled33 » Sat Dec 09, 2023 12:36 am

Hello,

As an employee I lodged a case against my employer in ET, would this have a detrimental effect on my naturalisation application.

I expect it to take several months before getting handled

Thanks in advance

No, you should be fine. Employment is not a requirement for Naturalisation

Employment issues are a civil matter, not an issue for naturalisation.
Standard target for processing is 6 months, can be faster than that, or slower.
UKVI don't provide progress updates, the next time you'll hear from them should be the approval, unless they contact you for more information.
