Child dependent visa

Post by Rehan1979 » Mon Jan 15, 2024 11:52 pm

I am British and I have 2 children 16 years old and 15 years old and they are living in Pakistan with my Mom. I am divorced for more than 10 years and since than my children are living with my mom and I am looking after them further more my children have no contact with their mother since she left . My question is that I want to apply for their dependant visa to come here and stay with me in UK, so plz guide or tell me what documents do I need to make an application.

When and how did you acquire your British citizenship? Was it before or after the birth of the children?

Do you have sole custody of the children?

Hello, my children born before I became British, and I have the sole custody of my children from the court.

Do I need to do the DNA of my children? I just want to mention here that on every visa extension I made in the UK I always put my children names as my dependents. And now I am British and I got my British passport through the 5years entrepreneur visa .

Except when specifically requested there is no requirement to do DNA test.

The Home Office does not ask for DNA and have previously sanctioned for doing so previously.
The court order plus their birth documents plus anything else that supports the fact they are your children will be more than adequate.

Yes. TB test will be required for them. Such documents as to indicate enrollment, schiol term results and being a student there. You can get letter from school too.
