Inquiry Regarding COS Allocation for Skilled Worker Visa Extension

I'm applying for extension for skilled worker visa for next 2 year and I wanted to ask my employer need a extra COS allocation for my visa extension or they can apply without it as they have applied last time for additional COS.

If they have a CoS available to asaign to you then they can assign it foe your extension.

If they dont have a CoS available, they have to apply for an allocation of one.
