They're not obliged to give you a decision in 6 months. They'll do their best to make it happen, but it's not always possible.Adnanali112 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 12:32 pmSo now what step should i take? It's been more than 7 months and I haven't received the decision
6 months is a standard processing time, but some applications take longer. They are under no obligation to respond to emails immediately or even quickly.Adnanali112 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 12:32 pmHi all ,
I have applied to be naturalisation on july 2023,and I haven't received a decision yet, however i have chased FNE couple of times and they were sending same reply that it's still within time scale, and exactly after 6 months i got email from homeoffice that my application take more than 6 months, i have done the complaint and they got back to me and said they are uphold to provide why the application is delayed and some applications take longer than 6 months, i have contacted my MP about 20 days ago and my MP sent them email but they haven't responded yet, i also requested SAR but I haven't received it yet !!
So now what step should i take? It's been more than 7 months and I haven't received the decision.
Thanks all

You seem to have done steps to get more progress or information - you just need to wait now.
