Documents for first Uk passport

Hi

So we are about to apply for my wife's first UK passport (following her citizenship ceremony next week)

Looking at what supporting documents are need, it looks quite scary and complicated!

My wife was born outside the UK (in 1978), not on a British overseas territory, so the only way she is claiming to be British is by naturalisation

Would I be right in saying that the only supporting documents she needs (in addition to photos) will be her foreign passport that she used to enter the UK, plus her citizenship certificate

So hopefully not her birth certificate, mother and father and grandparent's marriage certificates etc!

Yes, correct. Naturalisation certificate and foreign passport (all originals) will be all she needs to submit.
