Indian citizenship renunciation - minor child details

Query regarding Indian citizenship renunciation:

I am in the process of surrendering Indian passport by following the [https://www.hcilondon.gov.in/page/surre ... -passport/](https://www.hcilondon.gov.in/page/surre ... -passport/). I understand that for OCI, I need to do both - 1) Renunciation of Indian citizenship by filling form XXII 2) Surrender of Indian passport

While trying to fill the renunciation form, I am facing an issue with respect to my newborn minor. My child is born in the UK recently and has acquired British national by birth but has not received a British passport yet (and may not receive it for another month or two) due to ongoing birth registration formalities etc..

In the renunciation form, when I add the child's details with United Kingdom as the citizenship the form is showing the passport details to be filled in as mandatory.

Has anyone faced this issue and what you did to workaround this issue?
