It says that you must be a British citizen or resident to sign the petition. :( Now i am thinking, why would a British citizne or resident apply for an ILR lol

Maybe because their spouse is applying for ILR?????

It's fine anyway having petitions for this sort of thing. At least those applying for ILR have their spouses here in UK with them. There are a lot more out there who wish their partners could just get entry clearance so they could live together as a family never mind worrying about ILR!!!!
