Combined visas

Post by Usimalik2029 » Thu Jun 13, 2024 8:34 pm

Hello everyone just need some help please
Can i apply for indefinite leave to remain by combining time
spent in the UK on different routes? For example, if i have
spent 2.5 years on a spouse visa, and then 2.5 years on a parent visa ?
Many thanks

You need 5 years on spouse visa OR 5 years on parent visa (if you are on the 5 year parent route and not the 10 year parent route).

No!!

It is not just about have 5 years legal residence. It has to be 5 years in a single visa category.

Spouse visa and parent route visas are different immigration rules.

You can apply for ILR after either five years on the same visa or 10 years on a combination of different visas.

Unfortunately no, its either 5years continously on same route or a combination of routes to make 10yrs for ILR LR.
