family linking code

Hi All,
I have switched to skilled worker visa from Global mobility 1 month Ago. I am in UK with my wife and newborn kid. I applied my newborn's visa 1 week ago without creating family linking code. Wife currently hold global mobility dependent visa valid till December 30 2024. Now I have applied for my wife's visa (paid IHS and visa fee but not submitted yet), where I mentioned
Will any other family members be applying to come to the UK? yes
Have any other family members started their application? Yes
Have any family members been given a family linking code? No
How many other family members will be applying? 1

Questions:
Will home office link my child's visa with my wife's visa application?
Since I used ID-check app, I dont have any option to upload a covering letter to mention this situation?
Will there be any delay due to this linking issue
How can I inform home office about this situation and will they manually link kid's visa application with my wife's visa application.

This is a bit urgent. Please advise

If they decide on your kids application first, then your kid will get a decision validity till the earliest BRP end date of parents else if they decide on your wife's application first then your kid will get a decision validity till your stay validity. This is my 2 cents. I have not experience this before.
