How HO return our passport and documents?Royalmail/courier?

Hi all, I wondered how HO return ur passport and documents to us?
via Royalmail standard delivery or Special delivery or courier?

My flat is not entirely secure to receive important documents via Royalmail standard delivery.

Please advice.

I think, guidance notes says, they return it via Recorded Delivery, unless you have opted for special delivery by attaching prepaid spl. delivery envelope with your application.
