Hi everyone,
What I am going to state here now is I believe atleast 2 out of 5 of you must have experienced at VFS centre in one form or another.
Last week I went to submit an OCI application for my mother who is 64 years old and disabled wheel chair bound. I took her consent letter with me and my ID. Now considering I am her son and I had consent letter from her, it thought what could be the problem. To my surprise the person at counter refused to take her application. By the way this was at London Goswell VFS centre. I explained the situation even to their manager they refused and told me to get permission from High commission of India (HCI). I emailed them explaining the situation and issue me a letter or email confirming I can attend on her behalf and not to be surprised the response I got was she needs to attend and take her when she get well. I could have understood if biometric was taken and she needs to be their. But this is just and application. This is discrimination and cannot be tolerated and I believe so many of you must have experienced something similar.
My question is their anyway I can escalate this with UKVI or any other organisation apart for VFS and HCI, as they won't help. This culture of their needs to change they can't keep making up different rules all the time.
Thank you.
