I'm in the UK currently assisting my wife to complete online form for spouse visa. She will be making application once she is ready to apply.
Can anyone advice, what is the waiting time in general to get the appointment with VFS when trying to book it.
Do you get it next day appointment or have to wait longer?

It depends on availability and you will be lucky to get a next day appointment and even paid for.
