Salary requirement for Tier 2 dependent

Hi,

Asking for a friend.

My friend is on Tier 2 visa which was granted last year in February. He got married recently and wants to bring his wife from India. I understand the financial thresholds are different now but how much would the Tier 2 main applicant need for income to sponsor his wife's visa?

As his visa was granted last year, would the new revised financial requirement apply to him?

Please can someone answer?
