HSMP & Workpermit

Post by mobig79 » Thu Feb 05, 2009 7:46 pm

Hi ,

I just want to know that if I am a work permit holder for 3 years and want to change to HSMP > What is the procedure , do I need to be on point system or my application will be granted straight away.

2nd quiestions is . If I have spent 3 years on work permit then I spend another 2 years on HSMP can I still apply for Indefinite leave to remain based on that I have spent 5 years in total working in UK.

Thanks

"staight away". nice try

No you cant just automatically get HSMP, you need to go through the normal application procedure. And yes, you can get ILR after 3 WP years and 2 HSMP years but the upcoming Citizenship bill could change all that :)
