Qualifications from abroad - Irish equivalent

Post by jjloubser » Mon Feb 09, 2009 8:07 am

I am from South Africa and would like to come over to Ireland in the next year. My wife & I have quite a few friends there and may eventually want to settle via the workpermit or Greencard route. I have a national diploma from a registred college in South Africa, but would like to asses my current qualifications against Irish standards/requirements, as I am sure this would be a requirement when applying for a workpermit or greencard. How would I go about this, as I would like to get as much paperwork done long before we come over.

You can get your qualifications recognised by the Irish Qualifications Board. Check out http://www.qualificationsrecognition.ie/recognition/
