My husband has applied his PSW on 03/10/08 along with dependent application (wife)........ still we haven’t received any news from home office also we have completed 5 months now….. and still getting same reply from home office that is waiting for consideration......

We had also sent a letter for our urgency due to received letter from employer that if you can’t produce your visa then your job will be terminate automatically ï

Hello urana

Have you tried calling the complaints department in Sheffield?
North east, Yorkshire and Humberside
(Until 31 December 2008) 0114 207 6565 (from 1 January 2009) 0114 207 2966
North East, Yorkshire and the Humber Region CSU, PO Box 3468, Sheffield, S3 8WA
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/conta ... tocontact/

If the employer needs evidence that he can work, there is a process that they can do that is designed for people who have outstanding applications. It is called the Employer Checking Service:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/emplo ... pport/ecs/
The service is also available to help employers check an applicant's right to work if he/she is unable to provide full documentation because he/she has an outstanding application or appeal with us. The service for these checks is, however, not mandatory.

Employers can use the service by completing the checking form and sending it to us by fax.
Let us know how you both get on.

Regards
PP
