UK Citizenship/Naturalisation processs

I would like to know about UK Citizenship/Naturalisation processs.

I got ILR Visa, issued on 6oct2008, Initially arrived to UK on 2Nov2003.
I am from India.

My Questions:

1) When Can I apply for UK Citizenship/Naturalisation i.e earliest date?

2) I have cultivation land in India registed with my name, heard from friends British citizens are not eligibale to hold cultivation land so can you suggest the alternatives like registering the land with parents name/family members.

3) My wife will also be eligibale for BC,
Is it worth to apply both or considering above point 2 is it good to apply one of them?

4) I also have LIC/Tata Aig life insurance policies in India please advice me whehter I can continue my insurance policies?

5) Steps inovolved,Correct me if I am wrong
a)Apply Naturalisation (by post or NCS)
b)waiting timings 2 to 6 months
c)confirmation from natinality office tobook the Citzenship cermony
d)cal local council for citizenship cermony (waiting timing days ??)
e) apply Brtish passot after citizenship cermony (2-3 weeks)
f) apply PIO/OCI through HCI london office
PIO processing timing 21 days
OCI processing timing 3 months????

6) Regarding PIO/OCI: I have to apply OCI so that my kids will be get OCI, currently they hold PIO.

Under current laws, 6 Oct 2009, assuming you were physically present in the UK at the Start of the residential qualifying period.
