self employed. Wanting to keep earnings proof simple

Post by MyHSMPApplication » Fri Feb 13, 2009 11:20 am

Hi All
I am self employed and with regard to the documents for earning is it ok if

a) I submit only my dividend vouchers and bank statement? I am getting enough amount just by showing my dividend vouchers.

b) As a self employed, is it a must to provide accountant's letter? I haven't seen any guidelines specifying that self employed applicants should provide an accountant's letter

c) For each and every dividends is it a must to show a payslip? Let me explain this question. I have payslips only from the month of June 08. However I have been receiving my dividends from Jan 08. My claim period is 01 Jan 08 - 31 Dec 08. I have 12 dividend vouchers and 6 payslips. I am planning to provide 12 dividend vouchers and 6 payslips and corresponding bank statements to prove that I have indeed received the payments from my company. Should this suffice?

Do you operate through your own LTD company or through an umbrella?

First, are you taking any salary from your company as director?
If so you might want to submit your salary slips as well.
