citizenship for my wife

hi there,
we had great help from this forum for ilr which we got this december.
now my wife had to go to india for her delivery as nobody could come from there and it was diffcult for me to give proper care and attention here.
my question is when can she apply for citizenship/naturlization ? she will be back after at least 10 months. can she apply after one year , ie, in end of 2010.
her total holidays including these ones will be around 420 days in five years if she applies in end 2010.
