Post by benjy » Mon Feb 16, 2009 4:37 pm

My wife is going to go for her ILR in July 09.
1. I am claiming child benifit for our child.
2. I am on the Housing List.

Is this going to affect her application/

No it won't. Assuming you have British Nationality, you're entitled.

ILR Application

Post by benjy » Fri Mar 20, 2009 9:27 pm

My wife is on a spouse visa which runs out 7th July 09
She will be going for her ILR 28 days before 7th July.
She has just passed her Life in the UK test,
Do we have to book an appointment in Croydon or can we just turn up on the day.

You have to book an appointment. Call them 6 weeks before as they get fully booked very quickly.
You say you are going 28 days before the visa expires. What date did your wife enter the UK? She can't apply earlier than 28 days before the 2nd anniversary of when she entered the UK on the visa.
