Urgent Help: EC Application Query of HSMP Dependent Wife

Post by inlondon2005 » Sat Feb 21, 2009 1:45 am

Hi Friends,

My Spouse/wife is going to apply for EC (its HSMP dependent visa).

I have searched all of the post still would'nt clear about the below questions. Appreciate If any one confirms the below

1. what is Sponsor Letter? Do I need to show it? as I am on HSMP and my EC granted before April 2008 and I work for a company which dont give Workpermits.

2. How much I need to show the funds? I don't have to show maintenance funds is that true? because as I saw in this forum I fall under old hsmp rules. However, I plan to show GBP 4500. which is the remaining balance in last three months. is that enough?

3. I am providing 3 months bank statements in which my salary is coming, is that fine? Secondly do I have to show pay slips too? or this is optional? If so can I send the scanned copy of the payslips?

4. The documents (i.e Tenancy Agreement, offer letter, payslips etc) should be in original or scanned copy will be fine. if copy will be fine can I do attestation from Solicitor? or its optional?

5. Under Old HSMP (before April 2008) the visa fee is £205 is that correct? and what is the time scale now days for Dependent wife Application process?

Appreciate If anybody answers all above questions.

Thanks
