I am afraid you may not be able to apply for two visas at the same time.I am facing similar problem as i have to apply for my psw as well as tier 1(geneeral) before April.I did called on HO enquirey number the lady told me if i apply for the second one then i have to withdraw one application .
For further assistance you can call HO enquirey number .

But in this case it would be WP extn.. which will be filed by the employer.
I am sure rockstar2k4 can apply for Tier 1 while his application is also under consideration for WP extn..

Atleast that used to be the case before WP was renamed to Tier 2.
Not sure if the rules have changed for Tier 2.

(Please correct if i am wrong)

frenzs, Great thanks for your info..

FYI,
I enquired with the solicitors & WP customer care - they said can apply but home office will do enquiry with employers as well and candidate for dual applications.....

So conclusion is if the criteria are employer don’t want know then it’s not advisable to take this kind of risk.

Else can apply but for the passport need additional documents from embassy office.

Correct me if I am wrong.

In case you are trying to apply for 2 VISAs , FYI the they are mutually exclusive...

You can have only one type of VISA at a time.

For example:
If you have Tier 2 VISA stamped, then you can apply for Tier 1 VISA, which over-rides Tier 1.
