Tier 1 General Migrant - Validity

Post by sajan.chandran » Wed Feb 25, 2009 1:19 pm

Hi Friends,
I understood that the visa will be issued for a maximum period of three years, on what basis the Entry Clearance Officer will decide the period.
I saw in previous post that some of our friends got visa validity only upto 2 years why is that?

Thanks,
Sajan Chandran.

I've noticed this before.

From what I understand, it was being approved for 2 years for those who applied in/before 2007 / when it was HSMP / when the rules were a bit different.

By the late, all the guys whom 've noticed to get the visa approved has got the approval for 3 years. Infact I remember noticing this mentioned somewhere in the latest set of rules on the subject.
