nangvil: please could you confirm this with your lawyers if you can whether can we show the maintenance funds using a combination of multiple account.nangvil wrote:satish.pand: Regarding employment, it's very sketchy. I was told by my lawyer that I might not be allowed to work because my VISA has expired, but my employers called up their helpline and were happy for me to continue to work pending the outcome of the appeal, which I did.
aaaammmiii: Does ur regular saver account show balance of £800 per month for 3 months? If it does, I would get your bank to print off a statement for that account using the bank's letterhead/logo. I would get them to write a letter as well confirming that if possible. I'm not sure if u're allowed to combine 4 different accounts to prove to them...might make things very complex!
May I ask you, did the Lawyers told you NO or was it the HO?nangvil wrote:Hi aaammmiii,
I would recommend calling the HO to clarify.
I've asked and the reply was no. Paragraph 199 and 203 of the Tier1 General Guidance states 'The personal bank or building society statements should clearly show: section 5 - that there are enough funds present in the account (balance must always be at £800).
By all means, they might accept ur documents, I would call them to clarify. Hope this helps.
HI.nangvil wrote:Hey priya,
I've replied to your pvt msg.
Once u have received the Rejection Letter from HO, u are given a choice of whether u're allowed to appeal or not. If u are allowed to appeal, u have to lodge the appeal with AIT within 10 days. This usually involve sending in the appeal forms. Once the appeal form is received by AIT, they will give u a date for your hearing. 5 days before your hearing date, you have to lodge all your documents with the court.
On the day of your trial, the lawyer would usually advise you to turn up. The lawyer would be there to assist you with the case and make the presentation to the court.
