Form AN - Details of partner in naturalisation application

Dear all

Do you know why they ask for details of partner in sections 1.31 to 1.36 of the Form AN?

Page 15 of the Guide AN says: "To help us determine your eligibility for naturalisation we need to know a little about your partner, if you have one..."

I cannot really understand how 'knowing a little' about someone's partner would 'help determine that person's eligibility for naturalisation'.

Any ideas?
