Visa reference number - which one is it?

Hi all,

The Tier 1 app asks for the visa reference number of my current entry clearance on my passport.

Now, which one is it? On my visa, there is one number in red on the top right of the visa (9 digit) and there's one in smaller font called "VAF No" (7 digit)

Go for the number in Red

From what I have seen, I understand that this should be "VAF No".

push_hsmp: Are you sure that we need to provide the number in red as against the VAF number?

are u applying for extension (non-JR) under Tier1?

Did u mean question A4 or B10 or B13 or D4 in the Tier1general form?

all these reference numbers seems to be very confusing.. they have not clearly mentioned in their guidance doc abt where exactly these can be found in our earlier travel documents..
