Claim points for age

Hi,

I am planning to apply HSMP from india on (March 9 2009). On this date my age is below 26 and I selected respective category for points with this. My DOB is (26 march) on that I will become 27. Since at the time of applying I selected below 27 but If I won't get Visa before my DOB will I get any problem? How can I handle this situation?

age should be calculated as on application date so i would say it should be 26. any ways u are below 28 so should not be an issue while claiming points.....

Since you are applying from India, your application date would be calculated as the date when home office receives your application.

Please note Date of Postage is considered as date of application only when application is made from within UK by Royal Mail. For all application from all other places it is considered as couriered application.
