can i apply before april 1st without having biometrics?

Hi,

i dont know much about biometrics requirement for tier 1. can some please help me whether i can apply before april 1st or not without biometrics?
i mean is it a requirement which needs to be done before application?

If you are applying from India, then yes Biometrics is mandatory part which you have to undergo the day when you apply at a VFS centre.
But why you are worried about it? It's a simple process where they take your pictures and fingerprints.
