Hi,
Does anyone know how long I have to wait for the permanent resident for EU citizens? I sent my application on the beginning of February 2009.

Under EU law they are not allowed to take longer than 6 months. Send them a letter asking for the status of your application and remind them that they are obliged to process it wihtin 6 months.

For next time (if there is one), book an appointment at a Home Office Public Enquiry Office (there's one in Croydon) and they will most likely process the residence card the same day!

Apologies. It is correct that the application can only be done by post. The 6 month rule should still apply however.
