Time till we can apply for Tier1 under current rules

I am interested to know that when will the requirement for masters come into effect for T1 ....Is it 1st april or 6th april ?

The majority of these changes to the Immigration Rules will come into force on 31 March 2009.
The changes relating to allowing certain applications under Tier 1, 2 and 5 applications to be
made at Public Enquiry Offices will come into force on 6 April 2009.

The changes in paragraphs 7 to 9 shall take effect on 6 April 2009.
The other changes shall take effect on 31 March 2009.

so does anyone not having a masters has time till 6th or is it only till 1st april

I'm also going to apply before 31march09 from outside UK (1st time). I have only bachelor degree.
Even the processing of the application is expected to be after the dead line, but do u think they will consider day of application and still give points to bachelor's degree????

Yes. If you send your application by Royal Mail, then the date of application is deemed to be the postal date. If it is sent by courier, then it will be the date the application is received by the UKBA.
