TIER-1 dependent query

Post by freak3out » Sun Mar 15, 2009 9:28 am

Hi,

I have to apply for my dependent VISA in May.

I am in UK on tier-1 VISA from oct 2008 and working in a company , but few days back i resigned from my current job , and my notice period will end in May ( and i have to apply dependent VISA in
May )and in the mean time i am searching for new job , but in case i didn't find a job till that time , is this going to affect my dependent VISA application as there is a column in VAF10 form where they ask for employee details ?.

Also i have rest documents ready like more than 1600 pounds for 3 months and also my rental agreement.

Seniors please advice .........

It wont, as long as you meet all the requirements like maintainance funds etc. You can write not applicable in fields which ask for your employer's details etc. Write a line or two in the cover letter/additional information section about your current employment situation.
