i got married to my portuguese wife outside UK since march 2006 . i came here in april 06 on a student Visa, and we've been living together since, i have applied for a RC on the EEA2 form

1. will the marriage outside UK be considered as valid?

2. will the three years here as a student be counted towards the five years to get my confirmation of PR after the RC or not.
