WP to tier 1 + dependent query

Hi,
I am applying for in-country wp to tier 1 application + 1 dependent together. What if my wife's visa get rejected (due to any reason) then will my visa also get rejected ?

I am the main applicant. my wife is dependent.
We are applying together. If my wife does not secure a visa then will mine too get rejected ?

If you fulfil the conditions of tier 1 and you have been maintaining required funds for your dependent (wife) and she has not breached any immigration laws (i.e. over stayed), then her visa will be granted as well...

Please clarify more on why do you think her visa can be rejected.
