Acknowlegement of Receipt of application!?! 5 days now?

Hi all,

i sent my application to the counsulate in canberra on thursday. it arrived at 9am on friday and was signed for.

I still havent heard anything back from them in relation to acknowleging receipt of the package?!

should i be concerned?

Don't worry! It can take a while. It may have been signed for but it still needs payment to go through and be given a number, etc etc. If you have confirmation that it was signed for then don't worry. There are people that never get confirmation. I think mine took almost two weeks.

You should hear back soon. Have you checked to see if they've processed payment on your application?
