Advise on application for Naturalisation?

Hello,

Please if someone could advise me on my application for Naturalisation.

I complete ILR+1yr in Sept 2009. My Indian passport expires in coming Jan

As naturalisation application can take months, so I will have to apply for new Indian passport before making application. Will it be okay to submit only new passport details for application (as form has place for current passport only)?

But if I apply through NCS, I guess it will be okay with existing Indian passport? and then I can apply for new Indian passport later, if required.
