FLR

Post by Rex » Mon Apr 18, 2005 11:43 am

1) If my spouse work and I do not work during my first year at HSMP
than would I qualify for FLR?
2) In such condition would my spouse get FLR (as I will be depending on
his income till I get the job)?
3) Is it neccesary to hire someone if I am self-employed?

If anyone knows the answer to these questions do let me now with confidence.

I sent these queries to wpcustomers email id but they need my reference no.

Is it safe to give them ref no.???

1) NO you wont get FLR
2) NO they wont FLR
3) dont know

I am assuming that yu are the main applicant, the forms strictly state that the dependent visa is allowed to work but such work must not be used to support you.

Acording to the guidance and older posts, the main applicant should be working.

The rule is clear on the main applicant issue, but as with any other immigration matter they do at times take into consideration 'Special Circumstances' and the case you provided ccould be described as such. another thing as well is that you dont give the full details of the case, it could be the wife was on maternity leave (paid or unpaid), it could be she might have provided application letters and responses etc, to show that she was 'looking' for work.
