Pl let me now. I have completed the skills assessment for ASCO Code-2231-79, from ACS.
Passed IELTS. Wanting to apply for the General skilled migrant visa subclass 175 at the eraliest..

Hi Sunil,

Yes I have already applied for skills assesment at ACS with ASCO Code-2231-79 and it's pending at the moment. I have about 6 years .Net experience, sent them all the experience letters from employers, hopefully will get a positive response soon.

Passed IELTS few days ago, wife will go for IELTS exam on April 18th.

How long it took you to get the assesment? and when are you going to file the main application?

Glad to see your reply.
It took me 3 months almost to get my skills assessed. by ACS. I work in SAP.I have over 5 years experience. Where are you located at the moment?
Im from India, Bangalore. My wife too passed the IELTS. Infact, we got the skills assessed by ACS in May 2008. So, gotto apply for the main application at the earliest.

Lets be in touch and discuss on applying.
My major doubt is:
1. This particular Subclass 175 visa, papers cannot be accepted in India..CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED AT ADELAIDE.
2. How aer you planning to pay them in case of post or courrier?

I am in USA for past 7 years.
Why did you wait so long to apply for the main application?

About your doubts:
1. You can use Electronic Visa Application to file which is very convenient and it lets you save all the info:
https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/visas/jsp/index.jsp

2. I will pay them using my credit card but you can always send a cashier check or transfer funds in to their accounts.
