Applying from India after working abroad.

Hi all,
My friend has been working in the US for the past 2 years. He plans to file his Tier1 this month. Please help me clear his doubts

1. If he plans to come back to India and then file the application immediately, should he use US conversion rate or India conversion rate while calculating previous earnings?

2. How different will his application be from those with salary from India?

If his earnings are in US he should use US conversion rate.
