Hello friends,
please help me..........

Can I be eligible for indefinite leave to remain under 5 year rule If I have been on the status of

1) Work permit from 1st April 2004 to 2nd August 2005 (14 months)

2) Permit Free Training 2nd August 2005 to 15th May 2006 (9.5 months)

3) HSMP 15th May 2006 to 15th May 2008 ( 2 years)

4) Tier one General 15TH April 2008 to 8TH April 2011 (to date)

If not please clarify reason and when would I be illegible for ILR.

Would I be able to amalgmate my work permit visa with my current Tier one Migrant/ status to qaulify for indefinte leave?

many thanks

For getting ILR you need to spend 5 years either with WP or/and HSMP(Tier 1). This stay should be continues and any breaks of more than 3 months will reset your counter to 0.
Since you had a gap between your WP and HSMP ( permit free training visa ) your ILR counter got reset.
Your actual counter starts from 15th May 2006. so you have to wait for 5 years from this date.

I absolutely agree with HSMP2008_Janaury!

Since you did break for more than 90 days you have to start from May 2006 I'm afraid.
