EC/EU Rights & Registration as aDoctor for Ukrainian Wif

Hello everyone - and thanks to the administrators for this fantastic forum!

I am a British Citizen (born and bred here in England, lived there permanently) and my wife is Ukrainian and has a 2-year Spouse Visa to stay in the UK.

She is a doctor, and we plan on applying for her registration as a doctor here in UK.

Our understanding is that she needs to have EC/EU/EEA rights in order to be able to register, as her qualification is from outside the UK.

Does her marriage to me automatically confer upon her EC/EU/EEA rights, or does she only obtain those when she actually becomes a naturalised citizen herself?
