Visa for Wife already in UK

Post by venga_pal » Wed Apr 22, 2009 4:13 pm

Hi there,

I got married recently and wife is also in UK on work permit.

I am on HSMP. I will be eligible to apply for ILR in July.

My question now is... Can I change her Visa status to my dependant when I apply for ILR? I mean can I include her as my dependant in the application?

Or

Do I have to change her status at a later stage?

Would appreciate any ideas.

Thanks,

V

She also needs to hold an entry clearance as your HSMP dependant before she may included in your ILR application (196E). Don't forget the KOL requirements.
