Spouse Points

Post by vijay » Wed Apr 27, 2005 10:47 pm

I got married on June 22, 2003. My HSMP application was recieved by Work Permits U.K. on April 1, 2005. I misunderstood the information contained by old application form and sent my application without consideration that 2 years period of relationship is also for married partners. I thought the two years period mentioned in old application form is the requirement for unmarried partners. Considering the present situation, almost 1.75 months are left in completion of 2 years period and my HSMP application is already in process. I have also claimed spouse points. Do you think HSMP team will award me the spouse points as after approval of my application I will be having 3 months time to apply for EC and by that time I will pass the time line of 2 years of relationship. Senior members and all other members, please share your views and let me know whether I will get 10 Points for spouse?

Vijay
Unfortunately there is not much you can do at the moment but to just sit and wait and pray that your application is successful. Chances are that they wont consider it but you never know.
