ILR TRIBUNAL OUTCOME

Post by jtwungg » Mon Apr 27, 2009 4:44 pm

The tribunal judge ruled in my favour on ILR application (10 years), how long should I wait for the home office to send back my passport or any advice on how I can contact the home office to send back my passport because they have held it for nearly two years. It has been a month now since the judgement and heard nothing from the home office.

Hi,

There should be a court order that will order the HO to remedy your judgement within a particular time frame if you are sure that this case will not be appealed against by HO.

Sometimes it takes between 6-8 weeks for your passport to be released to you. According to the information you gave it has been 1 month ago, so you may likely have 2-4 weeks more to wait.

Good Luck!
