Foreign National Living in Ireland

Post by uvalue » Tue May 05, 2009 7:51 pm

I am Pakistani National Living in Ireland. I am intending to apply for Tier 1 General Visa in June.

I will be claiming all of Qualification and Earning points from Ireland.

In order to submit my TIER 1 application, Do i have to go back to Pakistan or I can submit my application in British Embassy Dublin, Ireland?

Any answer will be appreciated. Thanks

Regard's

I got the following answer from British Embassy today for the same question:

You may submit an application for a Visit visa in any country. Applications for any other entry clearance categories, however, should be submitted in your country of nationality or your country of normal residence.

Please note:

In general terms "country or territory where the applicant is living" refers to the place where a person is present in any capacity other than as a short term visitor and has permission from the relevant authorities to be so.

hope that helps.
